OMS Engineering sponsors tracksuits for local youth football team

OMS Engineering has sponsored local youth football team, Bishop’s Stortford Swifts U15s, helping to fund tracksuits for players to wear to and from training and games.

Now with three adult teams and eight youth teams, Stortford Swifts is a local footballing institution, having been established more than 60 years ago. Playing in Division 3 of the Mid-Herts league, the U15s have had a good season so far, currently sitting mid-table and still progressing in the league cup.

Samantha Oakley, OMS Engineering manager, whose son Alfie plays for Swifts U15s at right back, said, ‘Grassroots football brings so much benefit to the kids who play it and the local community. Sponsorship like this is an excellent way for businesses to give back to their community and OMS Engineering is delighted to help provide tracksuits for the boys this season. We’re very happy to see them doing so well and wish them every success for the rest of the season.’
